Most of my days have been spent inside my room. I'm not the adventurous type, I suppose. I just have no interest in what's out there. I'm perfectly content with where I am. Or at least that's what I believed.
I woke up to the sound of waves crashing and seagulls squealing. The annoyance made my head ache. I gazed out at the ocean and I could see a storm on its way. Laughter of children echoed in my head as I heard their mothers calling them in, before it would start to pour.

No one really knows what she was. We don't even know where she came from or why. We only know her by the name we gave her, Miracle.
None of us truly remembered the day she came. We hardly remember life without her. No one wants to remember our former lives. They were dull and boring and full of such hate. She brought us love and hope.
She taught us how to smile and laugh and she taught us how to help. She taught us all the things worth knowing. She made sure we didn't judge each other and helped us become friends.
This one girl changed our hearts and made the impossible possible. She

He was in a state of depression. But not in the sense that he mopped around in clear view of a crowd. He had learned, early on, never to let anyone see him cry. His father would disown him if he attracted dirty looks or rude comments.
But, it's not like his life was horrible. People would kill to be in his shoes. With the snap of a finger, anything, everything you wanted. He had power. And when the eyes were on him, you'd never get the impression that he was afraid to use it.
Now, it's questionable why someone wouldn't be happy with this life. No one really can give a believable answer.
